Hello! My name is Alyssa Landry, and I am currently a fourth-year undergraduate student at the University of North Carolina School of the Arts (UNCSA) pursuing a BFA in Scenic Technology in the School of Design and Production. I am a scenic technician and project manager from Frisco, TX, and I am passionate about the creative process of bringing theatrical productions to life. From the initial spark of an idea, the technical design, and the load-in process, I love the exciting culmination of seeing everyone's hard work. I thrive on the hands-on problem solving and collaboration that each stage demands.
This creative energy extends beyond the theatre into my hobbies of baking (especially indulging in sweet treats!) and crafting meaningful, functional pieces through woodworking. I find that the patience and meticulous attention to detail I cultivate in these pieces directly enhances my work in theatre, and the problem-solving skills I focus on in theatre inform my approach to my hobbies. As a resourceful, detail-oriented, and dedicated individual, I bring a versatile skillset to the table, encompassing everything from drafting and construction to management, estimating, and technical design. After graduation, I'm eager to apply my skills and passion to project management and other avenues within the exciting world of themed entertainment.
