Hello! My name is Alyssa Landry, and I’m a Field Engineer at Turner Construction, currently working with the Preconstruction team as an Estimating Assistant.

I hold a BFA in Scenic Technology from the University of North Carolina School of the Arts (UNCSA), where I developed a strong foundation in technical design, construction, drafting, fabrication, and project coordination through the School of Design and Production.

My career has taken me from theatrical production and technical craftsmanship into construction management, where I’ve found a similar excitement in turning ideas into something tangible. I enjoy the problem-solving, coordination, and teamwork that go into taking a project from an initial concept to a finished, functional space.

At Turner, I’ve had the opportunity to experience several sides of construction through the company’s rotational program, including Self-Perform Operations, Procurement, and Environmental Health & Safety. I’m now continuing that experience in Preconstruction, where I’m developing my skills in estimating, project planning, and the work that happens before construction begins.

I bring a hands-on, resourceful, detail-oriented, and adaptable approach to my work. My experience spans drafting, construction, estimating, budget management, technical coordination, and project management, and I’m always looking for opportunities to learn something new and understand how all the pieces of a project come together.

Outside of work, you can usually find me baking, woodworking, working on a project around the house, or spending time with my partner and our beagle, Brian.
